Jennifer Pierceall Herman

A strategic, visionary organizational leader, and data geek. Jennifer has more than 20 years of experience working for non-profits, higher education, workforce development, youth development, communications, and healthcare in the Pikes Peak Region. Jennifer is passionate about helping underserved and under-resourced populations in our community. She has worked in many diverse roles including as a non-profit CEO, college administrator, grant writer, career counselor, business relations manager, and journalist. Jennifer has the expertise and doctoral training in strategic planning, program planning, program assessment, impact measurement, grant writing, operations alignment, and grant management.
Of all of her accomplishments, Jennifer is most proud of her work developing community college programs in a rural Pikes Peak region community that provided education and workforce training access to thousands of low-income and disadvantaged individuals. Through business, industry, and education partnerships, and the re-design of student services, program enrollment grew more than 70% under Jennifer’s leadership of the campus.
Jennifer has resided in the Colorado Springs area since 1997, after growing up in Southern Illinois and working in the upper Midwest for five years. Jennifer and her husband Jerry have two grown children and one teenager, and spend their free time hiking, finding lakes to explore with their SUPs and kayak, visiting local breweries, and finding live music.
