As a seasoned, 20+ year professional in grant-writing and non-profit management, she possesses proficiency in infusing logical, detail-oriented projects with imagination.

Throughout her tenure in the social services realm, Jae has focused on expanding trauma-informed services for children and families with a strong devotion to social justice, anti-oppression, and the prevention of gender-based violence. Grounded in advocacy and knowledge of the barriers facing underserved communities, she helps organizations navigate complex systems and give voice to their work, clarifying to funders the long-term programmatic impact on both individuals and the community.

The accomplishments that she holds closest to her heart include securing capital improvement funding to remodel a domestic violence Safe House with a trauma-informed design, bringing a web of student support services to an area deficient in resources, and supporting holistic victim assistance funding for a Latino community center decreasing the intergenerational consequences of victimization in the community.

Within a goal-focused and team-oriented model, her work lends itself to honing global ideas into actionable steps to promote positive change. This mentality serves her both in her professional and personal life. When she is not musing about infusing data with humanity, she can be found out on the lake with her dragon boat team, working collaboratively with the goal of crossing the finish line held tightly in her mind’s eye.
